Week 6 of the 12 weeks of Christmas Count Down

Welcome to Week six of the 12 weeks of Christmas countdown.

Each Monday a new challenge is set and lead the way with a idea to get you started. You have until the following Sunday night (Midnight) to upload or email angellapeardon@gmail.com your creation to win!

6 Geese a Laying...

 

Your Challenge this week is to create a Christmas layout using Hambley Screen Prints or rubons, or overlays or papers. To tie in with our theme this week your layout needs to have 6 photos and at least one circular or oval element (our egg shape!)

 

Here is a sample of the challenge a Christmas layout using Hambley Screen Prints paper ‘Big Vintage Circle – Lime Green and Fuchsia’ and Christmas Decor rubons in lime green. 

Have fun and I can't wait to see what you all come up with. The creations we've seen so far in this Christmas Challenge have been amazing! And of course special congrats go to our previous winners and honorable mentions Karen Coles and Mandy Collins.

 

Class schedule

Remember all our classes at All About Paper include everything that you need to create the class sample. You can bring your tool tote if you like but we supply all the tools and  products right down to the glue stick in our all inclusive costs.

Creative Christmas

Had a fabulous day yesterday with our first Creative Christmas event for 2009.  We snacked on special foods, had lots of laughs and worked on a selection of gifts and cards.

 

You don’t need an economist to tell you that hand made with care is much more special than store bought.  Here at All About Paper we have a range of paper and cardboard based products and tools that help you create unique and special cards or gifts.

Seats are filling up quickly for our next Creative Christmas, make your reservations soon. 

 

We are also hosting a 12 week count down to Christmas with lots of prompts and ideas on creative cards and gifts. Keep checking back to see the new prompts. Christmas Count Down Week 5

Hope you are having as much fun as we are with the count down party. It is a great excuse to take the time to make special gifts and things for the fast approaching holiday.

Your challenge this week is to create a pair of earrings or if you are really stuck a Christmas decoration, using Maya Road Christmas key chain with My Mind's Eye Laundry Line.

Christmas Count Down

 

Congratulations to our Karen Coles who won the weekly count down sponsored by Addicted to Craft with her 3 French Hens cards in a box.   

Karen's Turtle Dove box achieved honorable mention last week.  Both her winning 3 French Hens cards and Turtle Dove box are on show at the shop.

A Heartfelt Christmas

 

All About Paper hosts regular one day project events. Our November theme is A Heartfelt Christmas.  

$65 includes all the supplies and tools you need to make the projects. At All About Paper the price is all inclusive, no need to bring a tool bag or purchase kits to complete the projects, we have included them all right down to the glue stick, morning tea and lunch.

 

From 9 am to 4:30

We will make 2 fashionable designer items, smaller decorations and presents and cards that will see you well on the way to A Heartfelt Christmas complete with specially handmade gifts.

Reservations are required please phone the shop to secure your space.

Christmas Count Down Challenge week 4

Welcome to Week four of 12 weeks of Christmas count down sponsored by Addicted to Craft.

Four Calling Birds...

Your Challenge this week is to create a LO, OTP, or Christmas Decoration - it's up to you but your must use October Afternoon Pattern Papers and have 4 funky birds in your creation!

Here is a Single Page LO using various Ranges of October Afternoon Pattern Paper - Lines from Hometown, Cherry Hill, and Road Map have all been combined together.    
 And another fun project that Mandy is working on with little owls.

Craft Shows

We are not at the craft show this year but do have lots of good things on show and sale.

 

While the exchange rate has been favourable I have been shopping up a storm to get all the latest and greatest scrapbooking and card making products on our shelves.

 

Country visitors, we are easy to find, only a few short steps from the train station and a few steps away from great cafes for a snack. 

 

Stop in for a visit this weekend to check out our specials and newly arrived products.

Halloween Crop Party

Firstly congratulations to Karen Coles for her Honorable Mention in the Addicted to Craft Christmas countdown. Her decorated box is stunning and best of all, on show here in the gallery.

Saturday will be a busy time for fans of Halloween and the Manly street parade. Our late night crop on Friday will have Halloween theme, goodies, prizes, giveaways but I do need a reservation soon to organize the catering. 

We even set up a corner for a photo both for us to take fun photos of each other.  Come in fancy dress or casual dress but do be ready for lots of laughs and giggles. I have a few dvds of funny Halloween themed movies to show and lots of fun games in mind.
